Company profile

In 1995, TPC VINA Plastic and Chemical Corporation Limited (TPC VINA) was established as a joint venture company with its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In 1998, started operation as its state-of-the-art polyvinyl chloride production line with the initial capacity of 80,000 ton/year in factory in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Over the years, the factory has improved the capacity of existing line and invested in 2nd production line which combined total capacity of 190,000 ton/year.

TPC VINA is the pioneer in the petrochemical industry in Vietnam and, nowadays, operating the largest suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant with total investment of USD 115 millions.

TPC VINA’s shareholders are Thai Plastic and Chemical Public Company Limited (TPC, 70%, Thailand), Vietnam Plastic Corpo-ration (VINAPLAST, 15%, Vietnam) and Vietnam National Chemi-cal Group (VINACHEM, 15%, Vietnam). Built on 24 hectares in Go Dau Industrial Zone, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province in Vietnam, the plant is operated by Distributed Control System (DCS) with the most advanced technologies and facilities for production with not only highly efficient but also with the highest quality standards.

TPC VINA is currently capable to produce various grades of Polyvinyl Chloride Homo-polymer by using suspension polymeri-zation process.

1995	The first Petro Chemical joint venture know as Mitsui Vina Plastic and Chemical Corp, Ltd. was established on June 23rd, 1995
1996	Factory construction in Go Dau IZ, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai province , S.R Vietnam
1998	Commercial operation of Line 1 with the capacity of 80,000 ton/year
2000	Thai Plastic and Chemical Public Company Ltd. increases its proportion of share held from 24% to 70%. Together with that, the name of the company changes to TPC VINA Plastic and Chemical Corporation Limited (TPC VINA)
2002	Production expansion from 80,000 to 100,000 ton/year
2003	Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 awarded
2010	Commercial operation of Line 2 with the capacity of 90,000 ton/year increasing the total capacity to 190,000 ton/year. 1 millions tons PVC has been successful produced and distributed by Aug 31st, 2010
2011	ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified
